HC-200™ - Water Bioremediatin & Disaster Recovery

HC-200™ is a professional product used for in-situ bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated oily water, groundwater plumes & industrial wastewater, ponds and lagoons. This formulation was developed to rapidly degrade the major components of BTEX, higher range aromatic and aliphatic compounds. Application is non disruptive to the surrounding environment and maintains high economic feasibility. SpillAway HC-200™ affords you the ability to reach deep into contaminated water, perform in-situ bio-remediation, realise dramatic material & labor savings & accomplish remediation goals in a short time period.

Volumes Available: 20litre Pale inc. Associated Nutrients

How To Use This Product

HC-200™ is supplied in 20 litre cubitainors, included with the product is a nutrient pouch. The product must be well shaken and diluted at 5:1 with water, the nutrient pouch must also be added to the diluted product before use. A dosage of 5 diluted litres per m3 (cubic meter) should be applied directly to the holding tank/lagoon.

HOLDING TANKS AND OPEN WATER
  1. Water samples should be taken for analysis, the results will become the starting point for the bioremediation (Use bioremediation only when oil water mixture is a minimum of 75% water)
  2. Quantify the volume of water held within the tank, lagoon or area to be treated
  3. Dilute HC-200™ with water at a ratio of 5:1, the product should be well shaken before dilution – this will give 100 litres of diluted product
Do not add nutrient to undiluted HC-200
  4. Add the enclosed nutrient pouch to the diluted product
  5. Apply the diluted HC-200™ directly to the holding tank or lagoon at a dosage level of 5 diluted litres per m3 (cubic meter)
  6. In stagnent water, a small pump should now be activated to draw from and feed back into the tank, an air bubbler can also be used if necessary. This will ensure aeration and circulation of the water and HC-200™ whilst enhancing the bioremediation process
  7. Monitor bioremediation progress with analytical testing
EX-SITU GROUNDWATER
  1. Extract groundwater using suitable pumps and engineering to holding tank or sealed lagoon (Use biormediation only when oil water mixture is a minimum of 75% water)
  2. Once the required volume has been extracted samples should be taken for analysis, the results will become the starting point for the bioremediation
  3. Quantify the volume of groundwater held within the tank or lagoon
  4. Dilute HC-200™ with water at a ratio of 5:1, the product should be well shaken before dilution – this will give 100 litres of diluted product
Do not add nutrient to undiluted HC-300
  5. Add the enclosed nutrient pouch to the diluted product
  6. Apply the diluted Liquid Remediact directly to the holding tank or lagoon at a dosage level of 5 diluted litres per m3 (cubic meter)
  7. A small pump should now be activated to draw from and feed back into the tank, an air bubbler can also be used if necessary. This will ensure aeration and circulation of the groundwater and HC-200™ whilst enhancing the bioremediation process
  8. Monitor bioremediation progress with analytical testing
IN-SITU GROUNDWATER

In-Situ groundwater and effluent applications are applied using Geoprobe injection technology, this machine is capable of injecting to depths up to 15 meters. Every application is approached on a site specific basis taking into consideration the type, depth, location and flow of the contaminated water together with the geological make up and type of the actual ground to be treated with SpillAway™ bioremedial products. Please contact us for more information on In-Situ bioremediation.
